When you use Vakil Now, we collect information you provide directly (name, phone number, email), information generated through your use of the app (appointments, messages, reviews), and technical data (device type, OS version, app version).

For advocates, we also collect professional information including bar council registration number, practice areas, courts, and profile details you choose to share.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Vakil Now service
• To connect clients with advocates and facilitate consultations
• To send appointment confirmations and reminders
• To verify advocate credentials and maintain platform integrity
• To process points, referrals, and in-app transactions
• To respond to support requests

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• With the other party in a consultation (advocate/client) to the extent necessary to facilitate the appointment
• With Firebase (Google) for app infrastructure and authentication
• With Razorpay for payment processing
• When required by Indian law or court order

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security including Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, and encrypted data transmission. We do not store payment card information — all payments are processed by Razorpay.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@vakilnow.in. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Vakil Now is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

7. Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies for analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
